Your GMAT Coach (Thought Experience LTD) is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to this website. Your personal information (name, e-mail address, or any of that nonsense) will not be sold to other organizations for marketing purposes. What’s the point? I don’t even like most of those people.
Now on to the details of when and why we collect your personal information, how we use that information, the extremely limited conditions under which we may be obligated to disclose it to authorities, and how we keep this information secure.
First, this website doesn’t use logins, so no one has to worry about those sorts of cookies.
Next, Google Analytics: when someone visits www.yourgmatcoach.com, the third-party service Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and collates details of visitor behavior patterns. This tells us the number of visitors to various parts of the site.
That said, none of this information is used in such a way that it identifies any individual. We don’t, won’t, and never will make–nor allow Google to make–any attempt to determine the identity of anyone visiting this website.
Next, Podia.com: when someone visits www.yourgmatcoach.com, they may be directed to yourgmatcoach.podia.com to purchase items from the Your GMAT Coach Products page. Podia collects payment data and e-mail addresses for purchasers of Your GMAT Coach products. These e-mail addresses will be added to the general Your GMAT Coach mailing list.
The Mailing List:
As part of the registration process for the Your GMAT Coach mailing list, we collect personal information. This information is used to tell you about cool GMAT stuff (you know, the things that you’ve asked to hear about); to contact you in case we need to obtain/provide additional information to you; to verify the accuracy of records; to see if you really like being on this list, because please just unsubscribe if you don’t. Obs your information is safe and won’t be rented or traded to those sleazy people over there.
Our third-party mail provider, MailChimp, is used to deliver the Your GMAT Coach newsletter. MailChimp is used by Your GMAT Coach to collect statistics regarding e-mail open rates and clicks. This is industry-standard technology used to monitor and improve the newsletter. MailChimp also hosts the date stamp, timestamp, IP address, and more for the signup and confirmation time for contacts on the list.
When a user’s information is deleted from MailChimp, ALL of the data is gone, never to be used again by this list.
